Sharleen Spiteri

Sharleen was born 7th November 1967 in Glasgow.
Spiteri is the only member of the band who appears in the first two videos from the new album ('Say what you want' and 'Halo'), and this fact probably explains why Texas will often be identified solely as her.
The rest of the band say that this decision has come from them, given that they declare to be worried only about sound and so are not as interested in appearing on TV or on the album or single covers.
Only with the third video 'Black eyed boy' we can notice in the background the presence of the rest of the band.
Certainly the sublime voice of Sharleen contributes to making Texas really great.
