Andy Summers was #74 in the 'Smash Hits' card set which came out in 1985. Slightly larger than a standard sized baseball card (approx. 4" x 3" in size), these photo cards were issued in the UK in the early 1980s and printed by the Panini Company in Italy. Each card has a short biography on the reverse and a peel off sticker photo on the front.

ANDY SUMMERS: born 31/12/42 in Poulton-le-Fydle, Lancs., but grew up in Bournemouth where joined first band. As befits architect of The Police's sound, has very varied tastes and background. Enjoyed challenge of punk and welcomes reggae. Top rate guitarist, good photographer and amusing character.
