Andy Summers - Live Shows Available For Trade:

Show - The date and location of the concert.

Media - How the concert was recorded. These may include from the radio (FM), webcasted (WEB), or recorded onto CD-R (CD). Usually most traded live shows are originally recorded onto plain audiotape (cassette), although CDs are becoming more popular to do trading with. Traders should discuss the origins of CDs because CDs don't just simply remedy a badly recorded concert.

Total Length - How long the recording lasts. Most recorded shows usually will take up a whole 90-minute tape, or 2 CDs.

Sound Quality - A general idea of the quality of the concert captured. Ranges from excellent (A) to unhearable (F), although usually many live shows fall between the B and C range.

Comments - Any comments that are mentionable for the particular show.

If you would like to trade shows with me, simply write to me stating what you want, and what Andy Summers concert you'll tape me if I make you a copy of your desired gig.

I hope you all enjoy what I have to offer. At this point I'd like to thank Ruëdiger Hoeckel and Rodgier van der Gugten for introducing tape-trading to me and for getting this ball rolling.

Some facts you should know if you are new to tape-trading:

- The preffered cassette format for tape trading is chromium dioxide tape which, in other words, are high-end audiotape brands like Maxwell® XR-II or TDK® SA tape. They can be found in any electronics or department store. These tapes are especially good for copying, which is why they are used in trading.

- The cost of postage to send one of these packages via air-mail ranges from 1.5 to 3 US dollars.

- In order to reduce postage costs, traders only send the cassette, without the case it came in, and exchange track listings via email (if one is available.)
