Personal Organizer: Personal Information Manager for Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000

home page

Personal Organizer is a personal information manager (PIM) with two main uses. First, it's an organizational tool for managing any kind of personal information such as tasks, events, contacts, notes, file links, and Web links. Second, it's an image viewer. All information is contained in one or more password-protected Microsoft Access 2000 databases. (However, you don't need Access 2000.) The information is divided in 20 customizable domains and an unlimited number of categories.

An enhanced version of Personal Organizer is also available, called Personal Mind Organizer, including a mind stimulator functionality useful for reflection, self-analysis, and self-improvement.

Personal Organizer displays stored information not only as a grid or list, but also as a calendar, a tree map, a tag map complete with auto-tiling, drag and drop, and various kinds of animations. In the Personal Mind Management version, the same information can also  be displayed as an animated random map, or a slide show of random items.
