Copyright (C) 2000 Bruno Cancellieri (all rights reserved). E-mail: support@cancellieri.org Web site: www.cancellieri.org ========================================================================== INTRODUCTION Personal Mind Organizer (PMO) is a personal information manager (PIM) with three main uses. First, it's an organizational tool for managing any kind of personal information such as tasks, events, contacts, notes, file links, and Web links. Second, it's an image viewer. Finally, it's a mind stimulator useful for reflection, self-analysis, and self-improvement. All information is contained in one or more password-protected Microsoft Access 2000 databases. (However, you don't need Access 2000.) The information is divided in 20 customizable domains and an unlimited number of categories. PMO displays stored information not only as a grid or list, but also as a calendar, a tree map, a tag map, a random map, or a slideshow of random items, complete with auto-tiling, drag and drop, and various kinds of animations. HOW TO REGISTER PMO PMO is freeware and shareware at the same time. Please read the current PMO registration policy at www.cancellieri.org/registration_policy_pmo.htm. If you use Personal Mind Organizer without a registration key, its functionality will be limited in the number of records you can insert in each collection. To obtain a registration key, just follow the instructions displayed in the registration window at program startup. Let the program automatically generate an e-mail to support@cancellieri.org with the appropriate request code. Updates and new releases of Personal Mind Organizer can be downloaded from www.cancellieri.org. GETTING STARTED WITH THE DEMO DATABASE At startup, select the "demo.mdb" database (the password is "demo"). After some practise with demo.mdb you can start your own personal database by using MyDB.mdb (an empty database, the password is "mydb"). You can then rename this database and change the password by means of the relevant command in the main context menu. HOW TO UNINSTALL PMO Use the "Add/remove programs" function of the Windows control panel.
