The objective of this study is to describe the factors at stake in the response of Italian family members of HIV/AIDS affected people, focusing particularly on the perspective of the caregivers - to describe the changes in the familial interactions after the introduction of HAART (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy), the new antiretroviral therapy.
