Marina has always been attracted by stage; her first
literary endeavor, at 16, was an historical drama about inquisition.
In the 90’s
Marina cooperated with Assemblea
Teatro troupe, active in Turin since 1967.
In 1994, with Renzo Sicco, they wrote the
adaptation for the stage “Fuochi”, drawn by her historical novel “Ascanio e Margherita”. “Fuochi” has been played by “Assemblea Teatro”
mostly in Piedmont, Italy; several times at
the Fortress of
Fenestrelle. In August 1998 “Fuochi”
has been played in Torre Pellice; in October 1998 in South America
(Argentina, Uruguay, Chile). |

Marina collaborated with Renzo Sicco to the
adaptation for the stage “Rossetto sull’ostia”, drawn by a Aidan Mathews’s
story; it tells about the sentimental experience of a teacher in her 40’s
rediscovering love. “Rossetto sull’ostia” made its debut in 1995,
in the seventeenth edition of “Asti Teatro”; the book won the prize “Premio
Grinzane Cavour 1995” for foreign narrative. |
