Untitled Amanda Tinker (USA) From the "Mythos/Logos" series “My world of “logic” and reason can be seen reflected in the photographs of the mundane remnants of daily human life: a book, a chair in which to read that book, a door hinge, a coat hanger. These photographs are interchangeable. They are pieces to a puzzle that never seem to quite add up; yet all the while the pieces maintain a certain logic that compels their juxtaposition. Because the “objects” seem to hold no true relation to the landscape, one is forced to experience that uneasiness I feel in the face of this spiritual conflict.” |
