Pitchtrack derives from the ptps utility by Oyvind Hammer downloadable from NoTAM server in its original version for Silicon Graphics machines and from the MusTec server as Linux port by Dave Phillips. Although the whole Pitchtrack can't be considered anymore a simple port of NoTAM's ptps (see CHANGES file) and the code has been almost entirely rewritten, the pitchtracking algorithm (now in the libpt library) and the postscript generation algorithm are still the same.
Thanks to Dr. Oyvind Hammer for the original code and for allowing GPLing.
Thanks to Michael Pruett for the Audio File library.
Thanks to Dave Phillips for the first Linux port, for distributing Pitchtrack sources at MusTec and for its Linux Sound web page.
