Personal Identity and social
living
(57105-CP-I-IT-COMENIUS-C2)
Summary of the project
-
Insertion of an intercultural dimension in the various
syllabi: elaboration of pedagogical material primarily in connection with
the teaching of such disciplines as history, geography and literature,
constantly maintaining a point of view apt to favour an interdisciplinary
character.
-
Production of pedagogical material that could also
be useful for continuing teachers training as well as for external operators
(cultural helpers).
-
Development of intercultural educational strategies
aimed to exploit the relationships between school, family and environment
fostering undertakings involving the local community and favouring direct
cooperation among scholastic institutions of various orders, social services,
local associations and employers.
-
To increase the use of open and long distance teaching;
to support exchanges of experiences with other countries, situations, both
with European towns where issues concerning migrant people and their sons
are particularly relevant and with towns pertaining to a country outside
the European Community in order to favour a more direct knowledge of other
cultures.
-
The three intervention areas share teachers, training
and constant updating, through formative routes, realised according to
separate intervention facts and integrated with the exchange of experiences
among different countries and subjects (school, institutions, associations,
families, business world). Further more formative experiences should be
supported, in which school operators work together with extrascolastic
operators, that play a role of integration and backing to the scholastic
activities and to the coordinating with families, especially migrant, and
with the social background.
