First of all, thanks a lot for downloading McNapoli and
for your mails of support!
Based on Mechanik EN57 Simulator DOS Program, "McNapoli" is
something really new among all Mechanik routes. New becose
there is a non standard way to code the trasa.dat file of route,
exploiting some characteristics never used before.
INSTALLING McNapoli
Create ONE folder named "mcnapoli" and copy the contents
of zip file. Then just launch Mcnapoli.exe and enjoy.
Should you receive an error message try to reboot your PC.
DRIVING McNapoli
McNapoli requires a slightly different way to
drive respect other Mechanik routes.
This is an suburban/underground route so assume
you have always green light and have to stop in all stations.
To help you driving along the route the system will suggest
you speeds to be hold in order to have an economical drive
and not skip stations.
Every time a BEEP will be heard the system gives you
a new speed. You can read it on the upper left side of screen.
In some cases the system asks you confirm by lighting
the red 'SPD' sign and requires you to push the 'SPACEBAR',
or the alarm will ring and after a short while the train
will come to a sudden stop.
In the underground section of the route the speed suggested
will be always the maximum allowed and you will be not suggested
any change, and stops are at yours.
As
you can see the route has 10 stations.
The firs part is at the sunlight, after "Colli Aminei" becomes
underground until the last stop "Vanvitelli".
The ideal stop point for each station should be at
the very end of the platform, a little bit before the tunnel,
as most of stations have the platform long just as the all train.
So brake ability is really essential.
I hope you will enjoy my work and also hope that this could
give new will to all great developers of the community.
TROUBLES
I'm working to solve out some texture blinkings and stretching.
UPDATES
There will probably be future updates to the route.
