Capriate apartment

Capriate apartment is built in the oldest part of the castle, the north-east corner off the Xth century courtyard. The apartment is on the second floor and is reached by a stone spiral staircase built inside the secondary tower. The sitting room still has the original low ceiling beams typical of ancient corner rooms, the "capriate"; it is furnished with attractive antique furniture, in a pleasant style, cosy and comfortable yet respectful of the impressive setting of the castle.
The room has a very simple open kitchen adjoining the dining area.
One window overlooks the inner castle courtyard and the old tower, while the other windows have panoramic views of the countryside. Capriate apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom with shower.
