Preface

I recognise all the copyrights of all parties and I absolutely do not want credit to me works or others things that are not mine, but I hope that anyone agree if I reproduce (and naturally reference to him/her/it) something done by others.

This Internet website is made for fun and for informative purposes. The information in these pages has been obtained from public sources. It is believed to be accurate (the data in these pages have been thoroughly researched), and are given in good faith, but naturally I cannot guarantee anything.

I respect any opinion (also if I do not agree) then I hope that others respect my opinions (also if they do not agree).

If you find your rights violated by an info at this page, let me know and I'll correct (I hope that will not necessary remove) the offending data.

Some personal opinions

I think that a wonderful thing about Internet (but also for other low cost media as CD-ROM) is the possibility to share large quantitative of information at very low cost. I hope that others agree with me on this point. Then I recommend do not enforce restrictive copyrights about things that never will do you rich or famous. Also requiring a simple free permission to usage by email (the more cheap and quick methods) if iterated more and more waste a lot of time (both for the person that require and the person that respond). Time that could be better used to write down new (and, hopefully, interesting) works.
It is really bad if someone use your material to try to make some new work (or a better work on the same subject) without waste time to ask permission on things that commercially do not have any (or small) value? Is not sufficient that your original work is referenced? I think that if you share your information with others you will have more information, images, etc. for your works then your work will be better, and also the others' works will be better.
Also ask a free CD if a magazine mirrored in his included CD your website (or your shareware o freeware software product) is a very heavy constraints. The cost to ask all the permission and send by conventional mail all the CDs (remember a 650MB CD can include a lot of things from a lot of authors) can be more expensive that produce all the CD to bundle with the magazine. Remember that also searching, indexing and put in a decent order the works of a lot of different people is a time-consuming (then expensive for a commercial organisation) task. For example, if a aviation magazine will include a CD full of good website on aviation history and technology made by aviation enthusiasts probably I will buy that issue of that magazine. But if a magazine probably could collected the contents of many websites and put them on a free CD surely cannot ask a lot of permission, wait a answer, send a free copy by ordinary mail, to each author anywhere in the world without increase the price of the magazine (then probably sell it with more difficulties). Then is very strange if a aviation magazine include a free CD full of mirrored free internet website. Conclusion if you want see some free internet website you must see they on Internet and pay telephone/internet bills that are much more expensive of the cost of a magazine. And if you are interested to download them for off-line viewing and collecting it you must also waste your constrained spare time to ordered them in some manner and finally put all on some more or less expensive memory storage device. Someone has earned something from this situation?
