I worked out most of this just by listenening to the version on Disintegration and the live version on Entreat. If you've never heard Entreat, buy it, the Entreat versions are all better than the album versions. There are no actual guitars in this song; just basses and Fender Bass VIs (although I've arranged the Bass VIs for guitar since very few own them). The first bass seems to have all it's lows and some of its mids cut, so it sounds high and clicky.
