Intervista 4

Unannounced MuchMusic Visit
(January, 1999)

Now here are some of the interesting points taken from the
interview. . .

'Promises' (first single, I am sure most of you know) will be a
"funny" video according to Dolores and Fergal. It was made by the
same person who created 'Salvation'. It is also one of the
"harder" songs on the album according to Dolores.

They took and break from each other for six months before they
started seeing each other again, and writing songs came after
that.

For Dolores, Taylor was an "amazing experience" that put
"everything into perspective" and reading through the lines,
infulenced the album a lot.

Bury the hatchet is a "new beginning; optimistic" and is saying
"move on" and let "bigons be bigons." Dolores said it is a "happy;
kinder; gentler; beautiful album." The first 3 albums were like a
trilogy and BTH is a new start.

Some interesting things I learned . . .2 of the band members like
to dress up like women (according to Dolores! By the look on
Fergal's face he might be one of them! ;) Their 10th anniversary
is next year and it will be celebrated with a huge party and a
hangover the next day. If you hear Dolores is in Canada, you may
spot her wearing a wool hat and scarf so you do not recongize her.
Dolores does not like the Spice Girls and has already let Taylor
know that the album is not allowed in the house. Canada is one of
their favourite places and they love Canadians because we are more
laid back, friendly and are more like them (More European).
Dolores also said that Canada has great audiences that "really
know how to rock!"
