Le foto sono state scattate dal terrazzo sulla sommità di un palazzo di Roma,
con una macchina fotografica digitale Pentax EI-200 (risoluzione 1600x1200 pixel),
applicata all'oculare 25 mm di un telescopio Skywatcher di tipo Maksutov, diametro
127 mm, focale 1500 mm.
Sono stati usati vari tempi di esposizione, da 1/250 di secondo a 4 secondi
secondi nel periodo in cui la luna era completamente oscurata.
Il cielo era nuvoloso, per cui è stato spesso necessario attendere che le nuvole
si spostassero fino a rendere la luna perfettamente visibile.
Le foto sono state ruotate, aggiustate in luminosità e ridotte a circa 400x300 pixel.
E' stato anche eliminato il colore, eccetto nell'ultima foto che mostra la "luna rossa",
illuminata solo dalla luce rifratta dall'atmosfera terrestre.

All pictures were taken from the top of a building in Rome, Italy,
using a Pentax EI-200 digital camera (1600x1200 pixels), put in contact of the 25 mm
eyepiece of a Skywatcher Maksutov telescope (diameter 127 mm, focal 1500 mm).
I used exposure times ranging from 1/250 sec. up to 4 seconds, when the moon was in
the Earth's shadow.
Weather were cloudy, so I had to wait often that the moon was visible among the clouds.
I rotated and regulated brightness of the pictures, reducing also them to about 400x300 pixels.
I eliminated the color information frm all pictures but the last one, showing the "red
moon", illuminated only by the dim light refracting through Earth's atmosphere.
