Planet Mars on August 10, 2003 on a Maksutov-Cassegrain 127/1500 at 150x (PL 10 mm eyepiece). Afocal with Pentax EI-200 at 800x600 pixels, cropped but not rotated. Image taken at 1/15 sec. with tracking.
No details visibile on the surface, due to bad seeing (I hope) except perhaps the southern ice cap and darker zones in the south and near the north pole.

Still no clear details visibile on the surface, due to bad seeing (warm nights even at 560 mt asl).

Planet Mars on August 27, 2003 on a Maksutov-Cassegrain 127/1500, projection of a 6 mm eyepiece on Fuji 800 ISO film, 2 seconds exposure (If I remember well). Film scanned at 300 dpi (more dpi were worse). Contrast and luminosity adjusted. So far my best film picture of Mars. More to come...
