Personal Organizer and Personal Mind Organizer Registration Policy

Note: Personal Mind Organizer (PMO) is an enhanced version of Personal Organizer (PO). The same registration policy applies to both products.
Personal Organizer and Personal Mind Organizer (formerly Personal Mind Manager) are freeware and shareware at the same time. As it is important to me to know how many people are trying PMO or PO and how many have chosen to use them, all users are kindly requested to register.
You may choose not to register. However, if you use the program without a valid registration key, you will not be allowed to insert more than 50 records per collection.
Registration price vary according to the type of registration you choose. The following types are currently available:
Type 1 - Cooperative registration (free of charge)
You may
choose to cooperate with me for the improvement and/or diffusion of PMO/PO.
Cooperating may include (but is not limited to): reporting errors, suggesting
improvements, voting and sending comments to shareware sites, preparing records
for the demo database, posting info about PMO/PO to newsgroups, newspapers or
other media, correcting my English and typing errors, distributing PMO/PO,
reselling paid versions of them etc.
Cooperators are entitled to receive free of charge as many temporary
registration keys as needed during the period of collaboration. In special cases
they may receive a type 2 registration free
of charge.
You can obtain a temporary registration key by sending me an e-mail with a special request code generated by the program. You will then receive a temporary registration key the duration of which may vary according to the registration policy of the moment and is typically ranging from 1 to 6 months.
Type 2 - Paid registration (current price is 30 US$, subject to change with notice on www.cancellieri.org)
At any time you can request for a no-nag, time independent version of PMO/PO by sending a request to support@cancellieri.org. You will then receive payment instructions, i.e. the address of a secure and certified Internet payment service provider to which you will have to send your money (via credit card or other means). As soon as I receive notice of the payment from the service provider, I will send you a never expiring registration key.
The
complexity of this unusual charging scheme arises from the following needs:
- I would like to have the e-mail addresses of the PMO/PO users in order to keep
them informed of program issues and updates.
- I would like to monitor the actual use of PMO/PO by the people who have
downloaded it and receive feed-back from them in order to improve the quality of
PMO/PO to the best possible level
- I would like to measure the real value of PMO/PO for its users
How to request for your registration
To
request for a type 1 or type 2 registration, follow the instructions displayed
in the registration window at program startup. Let the program automatically
generate an e-mail to support@cancellieri.org
with the request code. You will then receive by e-mail a registration key valid
for your installation. For type-2 registrations, you will first receive
instructions for payment and the key will be sent after the payment has been
notified.

Updates and new releases of Personal Mind Organizer can be downloaded from www.cancellieri.org.
In case of major updates, the registration key you are using may no longer be
recognized as valid. In this case you have to request for a new one using the
program generated e-mail with the new request code.
