Marcello Peghin plays the classical guitar with 6 and 12 strings and the electrc guitar with Live electronics. A composer and arranger, he was born in Lecce but has lived practically from his birth in Alghero. His career has been parallel with that of Enzo Favata, with whom he played in 1987 and he has also been co-author of many of Favata’s works. He is a specialist in the language of guitars, as he divides his time between the modern productions of Favata and exhibitions of the old classical repertory, his great passion. He has a diploma in classical guitar and is highly interested in the repertory of Johann Sebastian Bach. He has written a special transcrition for the guitar of the Goldberg Variations, of which he is also a virtuoso.
