About us

Nuoro’ s C.C.I.A.A., the Province and the Council of Siniscola felt the need to develop the industrial zone and therefore created the Industrial Consortium of Siniscola. Following this, (with the Prefect of Nuoro decree n° 1128, 04-07-1979) the Council of Siniscola asked for recognition from the Regional Government according to the Regional law number 15/94 and 17/93. This gave way to the participation of the Councils of Torpè, Posada, Lodè, San Teodoro and the Association of Industrialists of Nuoro. The aim of the Industrial Consortium is to promote and develop the industry promoting surveys, projects and obtaining sites and urbanising them ready for the companies.

Siniscola’ s Z.I.R. is situated near the 131 Bis high road (Abbasanta - Nuoro, Siniscola - Olbia) and covers an area of 500 hectares. It is five minutes distance from the port of La Caletta. It is a popular choice due to its accessibility to Olbia’ s port and airport one of the most important on the island, only at 40 minutes distance.
