De Lleida School with a woman married for twenty to a gypsy. She has a
daughter with special education needs at school. The parents are street
sellers of clothing and have three daughters: 18, 13 and the youngest 9.

di Lleida. La scuola non è situata nel centro urbano bensì
in una piccola comunità agricola a due chilometri dalla città.
La scuola ha 16 alunni, sei dei quali sono zingari tutti appartenenti alla
famiglia della madre alla quale abbiamo fatto l’intervista.
Interview conducted with a gypsy mother in a
Lleida State school. The school is not -situated in urban centre
but in a small agricultural community two kilometres from the town.
The school has 16 students, 6 of whom are gypsies all belonging to the
interviewed mother's family.

di una famiglia composta dai genitori e tre figli di 8 anni, 6 anni e di
18 mesi. I figli sono nati a Seròs (Lleida) e il padre lavora stabilmente
come bracciante. La madre è casalinga.
Le risposte sono molto brevi anche a causa della scarsa conoscenza
della lingua castigliana da parte della madre, che è colei a cui
viene fatta l’intervista. Il padre non assiste perché per lui è
molto difficile assentarsi dal lavoro.
The person interviewed is an Arab mother (Morocco)
who is part of a family consisting of parents and three children of 8,
6 and 18 months. The children were born in Seròs (Lleida)
and their father has a stable job as a farm-labourer. The mother
is a house wife. The replies are very short-because of her slight
knowledge of Castiglian in which the interview was conducted. The
father did not take part because of the difficulty of taking time off from
work-.

con un messicano. Fino all'ottobre 1993 risiede a Città del Messico.
I suoi genitori vivono in Perù e i suoi suoceri in Messico. Ha quattro
figlie: una di 15 anni che studia al 2° anno di B.U.P., un'altra di
13 che sta frequentando il 2° anno dell'E.S.U., una di 11 che frequenta
il 6° anno di scuola primaria e una di 5 che sta al P-4, quest'ultima
è frutto di una relazione successiva al matrimonio.
Woman borned in the region of Michoacan (Peru)
and she got married with a Mexican man at the age of 19. She lived in Mexico
City till October 1993. Her parents live in Peru and her parents in law
live in Mexico. She has got four daughters: the eldest, 15 years old, is
studying at the second B.U.P., a 13 years old daughter who is studying
the 2* year of E.S.U., a 11 years old daughter who is attending the 6*
year of primary school and the youngest one, 5 years old, who is at the
P-4. She had the youngest daughter from an affair with another man, after
the marriage.

unico giorno libero della madre,che lavora in un ristorante.
